Albany defeated Springfield 3-0. Scoring for the Devils was Pelley (Larsson, Burlon), Whitney (Timmins), and Demkov (Pelley, Helgeson). Wedgewood stopped all 21 shots he faced. Albany outshot Springfield 26-21 and went 0/4 on the PP and 1/1 on the PK. Pelley, Whitney, and Wedgewood were the 3 stars. Albany dressed 7 D with Hrabarenka and Young sitting.
