Harvard lost to Yale 5-1
Alex Kerfoot C: Assist (PP), E, 9/13 Faceoffs

Watched the Harvard - Yale game, my 1st look at Kerfoot since the Devils drafted him in 2012. Definitely an offensively minded player who shifted from center to wing and back as the game progressed. Lacks size and will need to add muscle but has good vision and reads the play well. Finds open space without the puck and looks to pass first with the puck. Appeared to be a good, fast skater, especially when he hit his stride, which seems to be something he improved on since being drafted. Showed good hands and decision making in space but will need to get better along the boards and against physical D. Played on the top PP unit on the half boards which suited his skill set well. Has the offensive tools, will be interesting to see if he can put it all together over the next few years.

AHL
Albany defeated Manchester 5-2. Leading the offense was Timmins with 2 goals and an assist and Larsson with 3 assists. K. Zajac, Whitney, and Burlon also added goals. Kinkaid stopped 21 of 23 shots. Albany was outshot 23-21 and went 1/4 on the PP and 3/4 on the PK. Timmins, Larsson, and Kinkaid were the 3 stars. Albany dressed 7 D again with Scarlett joining Young as a healthy scratch. Here is the gamesheet.

Keith Kinkaid: 21 GP 14-6-1, 2.07 GAA, .920 SV%, 4 SO
